Privacy policy

01What we collect

When you send us a brief through the form on this site, we collect the details you choose to type in:

• Your name and, if you give it, your business or project name, so we know who we are talking to.
• Your email, an optional phone number and how you prefer to be contacted, so we can reply and send your written quote.
• Optionally, your town or province and a link to your Facebook page or website, so we can see your business and plan any on-site work.
• Which service you need and the details that go with it — for example your website package, whether your content is ready, your web address and hosting preferences, the video tier and number of videos, whether you have product photos, who will use an app, the tools you use today, your budget range, your timing and what you sell or need built — so we can quote you properly.
• Optionally, how you heard about us.
• Which button you used to reach the form (for example “Start with Simatim”), so we know which package you were looking at. This is recorded with your brief, not tracked anywhere else.

If you email or phone us instead, we collect whatever you share in that message or call. We do not collect anything else about you, and we do not buy contact lists.

02Why we collect it

We use your details for one reason: to read your brief, reply with a fixed price, and deliver the work if you go ahead. That is all. We do not send marketing newsletters, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your details for anything you did not ask for.

03Where your details are stored

Briefs sent through the form are processed and stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, using their Forms service. Netlify’s servers may be located outside Papua New Guinea, which means your brief may be stored overseas. Emails are kept in our ordinary email account; phone calls are not recorded.

We take reasonable steps to keep your details safe, but no website or email service can guarantee perfect security. If a breach ever affects the details you gave us, we will tell you.

04Who we share it with

No one, except the services needed to run this site — Netlify for the form, and our email provider for messages. We never sell, rent or trade your details. If a project needs a third party — for example registering a domain in your business name — we tell you first and share only what that step requires.

05How long we keep it

If we end up working together, we keep your details for as long as the project runs and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can support what we built. If we don’t end up working together, we delete your brief within 12 months of receiving it. You can ask us to delete it sooner — see below.

06Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• See the details we hold about you,
• Correct anything that is wrong, or
• Delete your details entirely.

Send your request to us through our brief form and we will action it within a reasonable time, usually well under 30 days. There is no charge.

07Cookies and analytics

This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The only storage in your browser is what the site itself needs to display correctly. If we ever add privacy-friendly analytics in future, we will update this page before switching it on.

08Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly start doing anything this page says we don’t do.
