01Who we are

Clearer Days is a digital studio based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. “We” and “us” means Clearer Days; “you” means the business that accepts our quote.

02Quotes and fixed prices

Every job starts with a written quote that sets out the price, what is included and the expected timeline. The price is fixed once you accept it. It only changes if you ask for something that is not in the quote, and then only after you approve the new price in writing.

A quote is valid for 30 days from the date we send it. Any estimate shown by the form on our website is indicative only until we confirm it in writing.

03Payment

• Websites and web apps: unless your quote says otherwise, you pay 50% to start and the remaining 50% on launch.
• Product videos: priced per video (Lukim, Save or Laikim) multiplied by the number ordered, and paid in full before we begin.
• Payment is by bank transfer to our business account. We start work once the deposit has cleared.
• Website care is K25 a month or K250 a year, billed in advance; the first three months after launch are included. Web app care is quoted per app. You can cancel care at any time; it stops at the end of the period you have paid for, and on request we move a website to your own hosting account.
• Custom domains are registered in your business name and billed yearly at K90. We offer .com, .net and .org domains only. If a renewal is unpaid, we tell you before the domain expires.

04If you cancel

You can cancel a project at any time by telling us in writing.

• Before we start work: we refund what you have paid in full.
• After we have started: we refund what you have paid minus the value of the work already done, including any video takes already generated. We will show you what was completed and how we worked out that amount, and the files for that work are yours.

We will never charge more than you have already paid for work done before a cancellation.

05What you provide

You provide your logo, product details, prices, text and photos, unless your quote says we will. You confirm that you have the right to use everything you send us. Timelines on our site assume your content arrives when the project starts; if it arrives later, the launch date moves by the same amount.

06Review, changes and change requests

• During the build you get a private link to follow progress, and a review step where you tell us what to change. We make those changes, then the design is frozen.
• Anything you ask for after the design is frozen, or after handover, is a change request. We quote each one at a fixed price before starting, and nothing is done or charged until you approve it in writing.
• Each product video includes one take (generation attempt), delivered as made, without editing or revisions. A different version is a new video, ordered and paid for at the published tier price.

07After launch: 30 days of fixes

For 30 days after launch, anything we built that is broken or not working as agreed is fixed by us at no charge. That does not cover new requests, new content or changes to something you already approved — those are change requests.

08Ownership

Once the project is paid in full, you own the website, app, photos and videos we made for you, and we hand over the files and logins. A custom domain is always registered in your business name. If you ever move to another provider, we hand everything over and help you do it.

We only show your project or quote you in our own marketing with your permission.

09Third-party costs and AI-produced media

Product videos are produced with generative AI from the material you supply. They may carry an invisible digital marker that platforms use to identify AI content. Our video prices depend on third-party services billed in US dollars; if those costs or exchange rates change significantly, we may update our published prices. A quote you have already accepted is never affected.

Some things are paid to other companies: for example domain registration, paid advertising budgets, or app services your project needs. We tell you about these before you accept the quote and never add them without your approval.

10Our responsibility

We build carefully and fix our own mistakes, but we cannot guarantee a particular number of sales, enquiries or a Google ranking. Our total responsibility for any project is limited to the amount you have paid us for it.

11Law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Papua New Guinea. If we change them, we update this page and the date at the top; the terms in place when you accepted your quote apply to that project.
